The ECT network is a series of twilight sessions, held at different schools to enable participants to develop their understanding of education across the local area.  The sessions offer participants the opportunity to develop their practice and explore the wider role of teachers in the 21st century.

The network is designed to:

  • Provide support for teachers and allow opportunities to network with colleagues from across the city
  • Deliver training in areas most pertinent to teachers early in their careers, including topics the delegates have identified as key areas for development
  • Familiarise teachers with the latest research and developments in education
  • Participate in action research and lesson study with colleagues from other schools.
