Exeter Careers Fair
Exeter Consortium are delighted to announce we will be holding our annual careers fair on Thursday 18th January 2018 at St James School, Exeter.
The purpose of the event is to encourage all students to start thinking about their career options, providing a space where they can discover more about the desired skills, qualifications and experience required across a range of sectors. The event is open to all students, parents and carers but will be particularly relevant for Year 10 students who will be looking to secure work experience placements, and Year 11 students who will be exploring post-16 options.
Representatives from local businesses, education providers, public services and more will be present to impart key information to students, answering any questions you may have about available opportunities or the sector at large.
It is our hope that students leave the event feeling informed and inspired, with broader horizons and a greater awareness of the world of work.
If you are an Education provider, business or organisation who would like to attend the event as an exhibitor then please complete and return the booking form here. We are building upon the success of our previous event in 2017 by working closely with secondary schools from across the city to provide a rewarding experience for both exhibitors and attendees. Options week for students takes place soon after the event, so this is the perfect time to get involved. Advice for post-16s and work experience opportunities will be in high demand! We encourage providers to make their stand as interactive as possible to ensure young people are engaged and excited about the opportunities available to them.
We very much look forward to seeing you at the event.
