Hello and welcome to the Exeter Consortium

We work hard to ensure we are “Enabling member schools to raise standards and secure better outcomes for children & young people through collaboration”

“By schools, for schools”

How will your school benefit from joining Exeter Consortium?

Access to affordable training and development opportunities with unlimited places on discounted training courses

“It was great, informative, interesting, flexible and responsive – thank you”
“It was the best course I have ever attended”
“Thank you, an interesting and inspiring day… I have plenty to take back to school…”

Access to CLASS (Colleagues Learning And Sharing Skills) which enables the very best practice in our local schools to be accessed and shared by all of our colleagues

“May I say what a fantastic day I had yesterday at Pinhoe school? This was definitely one of the most useful courses I have attended during my 14 years of teaching. The opportunity to observe the teaching and learning in the classroom and to then be able to feed back and analyse what we had seen proved such a purposeful opportunity.”

Access to Supply+the Primary School Teacher Supply Service

“Wow!  First time I have used your supply service – what a helpful and efficient service – thank you. I was also very impressed by the teacher you sent along, … she did a brilliant job.”

Information on funding sources and opportunities

Work together with School Administrators, Business Managers, Governors, Head Teachers and other school staff and agencies to share expertise, information and resources.

We endeavour to keep up to date with the needs of our member schools and shape our services to respond to those needs.

Wynstream Primary School has been given Teaching School status from April 2014 and is the lead school for the Exeter Teaching School Alliance. Exciting times are ahead and we can now look forward to an even brighter future for all of Exeter’s schools and their pupils!

We adopt a sustainable approach to everything we do and aim to support schools through these periods of significant change.

Be part of one voice, unified in the aim of improving outcomes for children

We currently have 41 member schools. If you are interested in joining the consortium, please email mark.drew@st-james.devon.sch.uk
